Fleet

Our diverse fleet bridges the gap between nimble, domestic capability and heavy-duty industrial power. Armed with deep-hole capacity, advanced safety features, and robust support vehicles, B&T Drilling brings Tier 1 compliance and decades of mechanical expertise directly to your site footprint.

Our Fleet

B&T Drilling operates a purpose-built combination of drilling equipment, support trucks and field vehicles for water bore drilling and selected mineral exploration projects across Western Australia.

Our equipment can be configured for larger residential blocks of one acre or more, rural properties, farms, commercial sites and remote exploration programs.

Each mobilisation is planned around the site access, ground conditions and requirements of the project.

All drilling and support equipment is regularly inspected and maintained to support safe, organised and reliable operations in the field.

Heavy-Duty Equipment for Western Australian Conditions

Thor RC 5000 Truck-Mounted Drill Rig

The Thor RC 5000 has been converted and configured primarily for hard-rock water bore drilling across Western Australia.

Its truck-mounted design, high-pressure air system and approximately 23.5 tonnes of pullback capacity make it well suited to drilling through granite and other demanding formations commonly encountered throughout the Perth Hills and regional WA.

The rig also retains the capability to undertake Reverse Circulation exploration drilling when required, allowing it to be configured for selected mineral exploration programs.

Actual drilling depth and performance depend on factors including geology, groundwater conditions, hole diameter, site access and the drilling configuration required for each project.

Iveco 8×4 Support Truck

The Iveco 8×4 carries drill rods, tooling, fuel and other equipment required to support drilling operations.

Its heavy-duty chassis and twin-steer configuration make it suitable for transporting loaded equipment to regional and remote sites where access conditions permit.

Keeping rods, tooling and essential supplies close to the drilling area helps reduce unnecessary trips and supports an efficient field setup.

Scania 8×8 Support Truck

The Scania 8×8 provides additional carrying capacity and all-wheel-drive capability for remote projects and more difficult access conditions.

It can transport drill rods, fuel, water, tooling and other field equipment required by the drilling crew. Its drivetrain and axle configuration make it suited to rough and uneven terrain where conditions allow.

Hino 4×4 Support Truck

The Hino 4×4 provides a smaller, more manoeuvrable option for transporting replacement parts, maintenance equipment, tooling, and lighter supplies.

Its size and four-wheel-drive capability make it useful on tighter access tracks and restricted work areas where larger support vehicles may not be practical.

A Complete Field Setup

Our drilling equipment is supported by a combination of heavy-duty trucks and smaller field vehicles carrying drill rods, fuel, tooling, spare parts and other essential equipment.

This allows us to prepare each mobilisation around the location and scope of the project. Keeping the required equipment and supplies close to the drilling area helps reduce unnecessary travel and allows routine servicing, tooling changes and field requirements to be managed efficiently.
